The bears were out, the campers were stoked and great times were had. Our coaching roster for week one consisted of Brandon Semenuk, Cam McCaul, Andrew Shandro, Jordie Lunn, Mason Mashon and Adam Billinghurst.

New for this season, we have the legendary Coastal Crew on board, Curtis Robinson, Dylan Dunkerton and Kyle Norbraten. They’ll be coaching as well as putting together stunning imagery each week.

Stay tuned, next week’s episode will feature Red Bull’s Under My Wing’s with SGC coaches Brandon Semenuk and Steve Smith.

Enjoy!

if your a biker.... both camps are sick the only difference is your going to ride with semenuk and mccaul at sgc.

flag E-Walk (Jul 18, 2010 at 18:42)
The diffrence is also the PRICE!!! SGC is half the price, and SGC is alot more focused on the campers rather than COC being focused on the coaches training.

Actually our camps are within $50 of each other. In fact some of our camps are cheaper than SGC. I find it hard to believe that SGC is more focused on their campers than COC. Our coaching ratio is one coach for three campers. SGC is 1:6. That means more coaching at COC to me. Campers at COC get 4 or 5 more hours a day to ride than at SGC (thanks to The Compound) it gives our coaches time to progress their riding as well as coaching the campers to progress their riding. Our goal at camp is for everyone, campers and coaches, to progress their riding, get the most riding and have the most fun. Like corporatesmiles says, both camps are sick, so it boils down to what you want in a camp. We like to think our camp kicks ass. I'm sure SGC thinks theirs does too. The cool part is no matter which camp you pick you will have the best time ever, we just hope you choose COC.

Ok, my mistake I apologize. The only point you brought up that is confusing is "Campers at COC get 4 or 5 more hours a day to ride than at SGC" if this is correct, that means you guys ride till around 11pm?

flag jdots (Jul 19, 2010 at 0:09)
Indeed, every night I was there there was the option to ride The Compound until 11pm.
